LA VIE EST BELLE PERFUME FOR WOMEN FROM LANCOME

La Vie Est Belle eau de parfum from Lancome is a beautiful long lasting lovely fragrance. The name translates as 'Life is Beautiful' and according to Lancome, La Vie Est Belle represents a “a new era” and “the choice to live one’s life and fill it with beauty.” The fragrance which was launched before autumn 2012, is a kind of outlook on life, inspired by joy and pleasure in small things. The perfume is created by using 63 subtle ingredients by French perfumers Olivier Polge, Dominique Ropion and Anne Flipo. 'Pretty Woman', Julia Roberts is the face of La Vie Est Belle. 

The top notes are fruity comprising of black currant and pear. The middle notes have Iris as the key ingredient, along with orange blossoms and jasmine. The base notes are warm, gourmand and powdery consisting of almond-like accords of tonka bean, praline, patchouli and vanilla. 

I love the way it smells on me, and it's long lasting effect. This is one perfume, when you wear it, you are bound to be asked, 'What is perfume are you wearing; it smells so good?!'

We had dropped in at the Central Plaza Mall in Salmiah, a few days ago and what I liked about the building was it's unique architecture blending the old and modern designs. I liked the visual effect of the colored windows and wooden frames.

When I at the zoo last Saturday, I saw this hippo lying peacefully in the water, with a serene look on it's face. What came into my mind, was 'Tranquility'. That's what we need to experience sometimes, find some quiet time, just close our eyes, shut out the noises,  think of nothing, and enjoy a sense of peace and tranquility. 


KUWAIT YACHT SHOW 2013

Last evening, we went for the Kuwait Yacht Show 2013 at Marina which was quite nice. There a variety of  beautiful yachts, boats and related equipment and gears. The yacht show for the public was open on Tuesday and it is on until Thursday 31st January. Today is the last day, so don't miss it. Here are some photos from the show.

This leopard at the Kuwait Zoo is lucky. The leopard gets massaged by the zoo keeper, which is quite surprising and entertaining to the visitors. He is a bit of a celebrity at the zoo - his photos constantly being taken by people.  What does the leopard do when he is being massaged?. Well, actually nothing.....he does not snarl or growl or try to bite. He lies still, closing his eyes, enjoying every moment of his experience. Luckily for the zookeeper, the leopard does not act on instinct like it would normally.   I hope the leopard always remains the same, never biting the hand that massages it. 








CALCIUM - IMPORTANCE OF CALCIUM IN OUR DIET


Calcium is an important mineral children and adults should try to get through a healthy diet or even supplements. It helps in formation of blood cells and keep bones healthy.
