WHAT DO YOU ATTRACT IN YOUR LIFE?

BEAUTIFUL SUNSET NEAR SOUK SHARQ

One of my favorite places to visit is Souq Sharq. On Tuesday, we went there for a different reason. My husband and I were visiting different areas of Kuwait every week to capture the sunset. Each location offers a different view and not to mention, each sunset is different depending on the sky and the weather that day. We had a quick lunch when my husband returned home. We just had enough time to drive up to Souk Sharq, park our car and rush towards the driveway where you can see the boat harbor between the Gulf Road and Sharq Mall. While my husband took his photos using his Nikon D 8OO, I took mine with my precious point and shoot Nikon, which is easy to carry and all I need to do is rely on my perspective and just shoot using the auto mode. I stick to the easy way. My photos are not perfect as the outcome of having taken with a professional camera. I love photography. Whatever I take, is straight from the heart. I was able to get some good sunset photos. We waited for the blue hour, which is the hour after the sun has set, there is still light in the sky and if you are lucky you can see beautiful red, pink, purple hues in the sky and capture some more photos.

Anyways here are some photos I took.

WHAT DID YOU DO TODAY TO ENRICH YOURSELF AND ENHANCE QUALITY OF YOUR LIFE?

MY PHOTOS FOR THE DAY - BEAUTIFUL HENNA DESIGN

My daughter joined us in Dubai for a short vacation last month and we went on a dhow cruise. There was a complimentary henna design being offered during the cruise. My daughter decided to get some henna design done on her hand. The henna artist was so quick and adept in doing the designs. She did different designs for each lady who approached her.

SHAKSHOOKA FARMER'S MARKET

This is a rather late post. It was my first time visiting the Shakshooka Farmer's market last Thursday on 28 November, at Becarre Lifestyle rooftop garden in Salmiah. I felt it would have been nice if it was better lit, so we could see all the lovely home made items and fresh produce more clearly.  Little lanterns provided light at each table and at pathways. There was amazing tea being served which I enjoyed. There were home made chutneys, breads, cakes, dips, chai latte, coffee, green vegetables, fresh produce, pure honey, apple cider. I don't know if I am missing anything. They are all very healthy and do not contain any preservatives. Shakshooka Farmer's market is held every Thursday at a different venue which will be announced before hand.  It's held from 6pm to 8pm.

Here are some photos I took.

Update: The Shakshooka farmer's market will be held on Thursday 5 December at the Sirrb Circuit in Shuwaikh, from 6pm to 8pm . This is where the karting races take place. Click Here for location map

PHOTOS FROM BLS WINTER BAZAAR 2013 HELD AT BSK

The annual Winter Bazaar by British Ladies Society was held at British School of Kuwait in Salwa last Friday. It was such an enjoyable and beautiful event. There were so many stalls selling home made cakes, cookies, chocolates, jewelry, food, books, sketches, decoration articles, christmas tree, scarves, so many things.  I got some cake, cookies and chocolate, and a surprise gift for my daughter for Christmas. When I reached there, Santa was saying goodbye to the children.  A superb rendering by the orchestra and choir.  Here are some photos from the event.
