Here are some photos from Thibault Cauvin's guitar concert we attended on Sunday 26 October at Americani Cultural Center. The event was organized by The Embassy of France and French Institute of Kuwait.
Thibault Cauvin gave a spectacular rendering. Concert included compositions by Domenico Scarlatti, Isaac Albeniz and a special piece composed by Thibault's father, Ph. Cauvin. He also played three compositions from 'Cities Project', that was inspired by the music of different cities in the world, Ulan Bator - Mongolia , city of Calcutta and Istanbul. Ibrahim Tami, performed as guest artist during the event, giving the audience a beautiful taste of music from the Oud. At the end of the event, it was nice to have Thibault Cauvin play a bit of local music on his guitar accompanied by Ibrahim on the Oud.
